If you are a Hollywood producer and need a vehicle designed that will grab the attention of moviegoers, then Harald Belker is one of the first designers that you give a ring. He has made quite a name for himself in Hollywood with his bold Batmbolie designs (
1997's Batman and Robin), and sculpted a stunning future for vehicle designs with his groundbreaking work in Steven Spielberg's
Minority Report.
Recently, we featured Harald's amazing
Superman: Flyby work, and now he has been kind enough to send us his latest contributions for J.J. Abrams'
Star Trek Into Darkness and Joseph Kosinski's
Oblivion.
As for
Star Trek Into Darkness, Harald designed Starfleet single seater and Klingon ships. You can view images of both designs below, but I would also encourage you to head on over to

I was mainly hired to develop the Klingon ship, I was also let go at the point where it was written out of the script that we had any Klingon ships. [Editor: Since then, the Klingon ships were written back in.]

STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS - written by Damon Lindelof, Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci and directed/produced by J.J. Abrams. Returning for the sequel are Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Zoë Saldana, and Anton Yelchin. They are joined by new cast members Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve and Peter Weller. The film beams into theaters May 17th, 2013. ........................................................................ Oblivion was a very enjoyable film, and a part of it's success can be attributed to the designs for the Bubbleship, and Cloud Tower. But let us not forget Jack's futuristic folding motocross bike, which Harald Belker helped bring to life with his marvelous designs. He also contributed to the designs of the Odyssey space shuttle, which is seen in flashback's to Jack's (Tom Cruise) NASA mission.

Not really, I would like to see my PULSE racers come to life. That's about it.
PULSE features Harald Belker's vision of the future of racing. There was a time when the fastest means of travel was a jet, but in 2035, private conglomerates have harnessed magnetic levitation (Mag-Lev) to create trains that get people from place to place to place in a fraction of the time.
To advertise the cutting-edge technology and sheer speed of Mag-Lev, events were held with a handful of machines and fearless racers. Within a few years, PULSE Racing Grand Prix were hosted in major metropolitan areas with the funding of the cities.
The world of Pulse racing is introduced and illustrated via elaborate drawings and digitally rendered futuristic vehicles while telling the story of an adventurous young man thrown into the whirlpool of an all encompassing and physically grueling sport. Through captivatingly sleek and futuristic images, the audience follows the racers to the limits of speed and power while they are barely on the ground. The sleds force their drivers to the edge of human endurance while keeping the racing fans on their feet in excitement and enthusiam.
