I hate twitter as much as the next person, but this is something definitely worth checking out.

Twitter-active Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield has been tweeting from orbit--providing an interesting perspective on instruments, details of his journey, and some gorgeous pictures of Earth from the space station.




But on January 2, things took a decidedly geeky turn when none other than William Shatner sent out a tweet, and Chris Hadfield responded by writing to Captain Kirt instead.
