Where has it been confirmed that this will be the last Trek film directed by Abrams? He was able to do Super 8 between Treks and from the looks of it, they're bringing in different people for Episodes VII, VIII, and IX...

Superman doesn't need a superbowl spot. Not to mention that we won't see another trailer of sorts for another few months.

I have an odd feeling about War Z. It just doesn't wow me like it does others.

Iron Man 3 spot AND a star trek spot. It would be a perfect day if my 49ers pull through and kick the raven's ass.

i dont think man of steel will have a spot..
its a bit too early isnt it?
I was thinking their 3rd trailer will come out around March..
A tv spot in Feb. seems out of place..
Although,
I would love one no doubt.

where do you get the balls to make a statement like "last abrams directed Star Trek movie" without being able to confirm your statement? Kick yourself in the gooch. and shame on CBM for allowing such a heading to be displayed on its MAIN PAGE nonetheless...

No spot for MAN OF STEEL?... that has to be the most daring and most dumbiest move ever on WB's part. Regardless, if it's 5 months away if they want to promote this movie they better promote it on Superbowl Sunday when the vast majority of people will have their eyes focused on tv.

I remember being at a Super Bowl party last year, and I was waiting the whole game for the Avengers spot. But the ONE TIME I needed to take a piss, I missed it. I'm not missing them this year!

There should be a "like" button for CBM comments.
Oh, and it's not the first time a STID spot was confirmed. And Abrams will produce Trek 3, it's not confirmed that he won't direct (I'd be surprised if he does though).

Ironman 3
Star Trek 2

So two things to watch the Superbowl for so far.

All that's missing to round it out: MOS. WB, get on that.
