TMZ has gotten hold of a few BTS pics from the set of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. No actors were present, but we do get a glimpse of some pretty battle-worn looking X-Wings. Though their colour schemes differ slightly from the ships used by the Rebels in the original trilogy, they are the same old-school 4-engine models. The X-Wings seen in The Force Awakens were much sleeker looking, and used only 2 engines.

Nothing terribly exciting, but hopefully we'll get some more set snaps soon as filming on Gareth Edwards' Star Wars flick continues.

@DrDanger

Can you stop filling up every thread with these videos?

Most of the time they have nothing to do with the topic but you link them anyway.

What the hell does X-Files and new Horror films this year gotta do with Rogue One?

I kind of want to see something other then X-wings like how about the A-wing or the B-wing. There are other ships in the Star Wars universe then the X-wing and the basic Tie Fighter.

I can't believe this is coming out this year. I feel like we've heard so little about it.

I can't wait for this movie!!! I'm more excited for the expanded universe we are gonna get than the 'episode' movies. Once Disney gets the origin stories out of their system and we start getting some really awesome original Star Wars material...[frick] yes. I'm so ready to see what else in the galaxy was/is going on when Luke was doing his thing.

And yeah the title is [frick]ing lame.

I hope we get a glimpse of Darth Vader and Tarkin in the film (though Tarkin would have to be a cameo since Peter Cushing is dead). I bet STAR WARS: REBELS will probably find some way to tie into this.

That title is awful. Excited for the movie, but they realy need to change it to Star Wars: Rogue One

That is a T-65 Incom X-Wing
The Force Awakens one is a T-70 and has still 4 engines, inspired by initial "A New Hope" concept by Ralph McQuarrie, it only has hemispheric retro-thruster, instead of circular like the T-65.

Sorry for all this virgin-nerd-shit :D
