Did you know that George Lucas forbid Carrie Fisher (you know, Princess Leia), from wearing WHAT...?
Here we are on May 4th, best known to geeks of all stripes as Star Wars Day (if you don't get that, why are you on this website?). To help celebrate this momentous Not-Holiday, we bring forward for your perusal, some gratuitous images of Carrie Fisher, immortalized as
Princess Leia of Star Wars fame.
Oh, and did you know that when she wore the white gown through most of the first movie, that Carrie Fisher is bra-less?
Apparently, according to Carrie, George Lucas theorized that due to weightlessness (?) in space, a woman's breast would expand (!) but her undergarments would not, therefore causing constriction. OK. We can thus thank George Lucas for ensuring that the crush for millions of teen boys in the late 1970s and 1980s was appearing in screen, running, jumping, and getting wet in that trash compacter, sans bra!
Here we see Carrie Fisher and her Body Double sunbathing on Tattoine
In case you had not heard, Carrie Fisher will reprise her role as Princess Leia in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII in 2015.
