In both the UK and North America, hundreds of fans hopeful for a role in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII were disappointed when they were stopped from auditioning at the recent casting calls because too many people turned up. However, BBC News have confirmed through Lucasfilm that a video application can be sent in through Cast It Talent. Producers are looking for a "street smart" girl in her late teens and a "smart, capable" man in his early 20s. According to the site, "Barbara Gamlen, a publicist for Lucasfilm, said 75 of those who auditioned on Saturday were called back to read a generic script in front of the Star Wars team. She added she expected a similar number to be called back from Sunday's crop of hopefuls." There's currently no word on how auditions in the US have been going. Were you one of the people who gave it a go or will you submit your audition online? Be sure to sound off with your thoughts below!
