Dave Filoni dropped by the Star Wars Show to debut the very first footage from the upcoming third season of Disney XD's Star Wars Rebels. In it, Ezra and co. bust Hondo and an Ugnaut pal of his out of an Imperial prison. The young Jedi seems to have grown in both appearance and ability since we saw him last, as he easily dispatches his opponents.

The clip begins around the 3:35 mark.

They probably got tired trying to animate his longer hair.

Looking forward to this. Season 2 had a bit too much filler but overall was good.

While I dont think its as good as The Clone Wars and is pretty childish, Rebels is pretty fun. Looking forward to the new season and I like seeing Ezra's evolution

While I am glad they got rid of the stupid stun ball blaster/lightsaber he had why is he walking around with Han Solo's blaster?

You know this basically confirms that rumor that Thrawn was going to be recanonized and show up in Season 3 right? The same rumor also mentioned Ezra's new haircut and new lightsaber.

He looks awesome, love the new lightsaber, but I sense the dark side in him and feel we will be getting a lot of termoil this season.

The show isn't half bad but the animation is so god awful, it's such a step down from Clone Wars. It's so cartoonish and bland, you would think that Disney would have more money to put into it by now.
