Whether you love or hate the puffin-like creatures that set the internet ablaze when they were revealed in the Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer, you're probably going to be a bit surprised when you see what porgs look like as babies.

Here you go...

This image was first seen on the Japanese website Natalie.mu, as part of a feature on a new Star Wars toy line. Since Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy has confirmed that baby porgs will be in Star Wars:The Last Jedi, this toy gives us a sneak peak into the weird biology of the ancient Jedi planet Ahch-To.

We've already been given some insight into why the porgs and other creatures featured in the new movie look the way they do, but we didn't get much detail on baby porgs until this strange image was released.

Fans so far have not responded as positively to baby porgs as they did to their adult counterparts.

While porg toys are sure to be the must-have Christmas present of 2017, it's safe to say that the baby version won't be quite as popular.

What do you think of this baby porg toy? Let us know in the comments.
