Harrison Ford Out Of STAR WARS EPISODE VII Filming For 8 Weeks!

After last week's dramatic injury on the set of Star Wars Episode VII, fans were left in the dark on just how bad Harrison Ford's ankle injuries were, but it doesn't look good for the Blade Runner star as he will be unable to film for 8 weeks!

Star Wars Episode VII's Harrison Ford (returning to reprise his role as Han Solo) was rushed to hospital last Thursday after an ankle injury on the set of the Millennium Falcon. Now, THR have learned that the actor will be out for up to eight weeks due to the injury!
The site's source is close to production and revealed that despite the hiatus in filming, the studio still aim to stick with it's December 18th 2015 release date. The original news revealed that filming will continue as normal while Ford recovered, but it is unlikely the studio were expecting such a large gap between production. What do you think? Sign off your thoughts on the matter below!

Star Wars: Episode VII is being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer. John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Gwendoline Christie and Lupita Nyong'o join Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker, and the film opens December 18, 2015.

I'm not surprised that they're going to continue with filming. It's not like Ford was going to be in every scene in the movie.

Hopefully he recovers soon, and this doesn't have a permanent effect on him.

For some reason, I have never been into these movies. These and Star Trek. Just not my cup of tea. That being said, I saw Star Trek into Darkness recently, and there's a reason I am not into these movies. Did that movie suck or is that just me?
