Lucasfilm only had a small amount of time on Skellig Michael to shoot Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars Episode VIII, and after having to lug all of their filming equipment up hundreds of stairs for those scenes between Rey and Luke Skywalker, you can understand why they decided against building a life-size Millennium Falcon at the remote location (it would have been impossible).

However, thanks to Mail Online, we can see that part of the island and the place where the iconic spacecraft landed have been recreated, no doubt for a scene which will feature Rey and Luke boarding the Falcon to take the battle to the First Order. Another very intriguing building is also being put together just about that, and you can get a better look at that mysterious location by clicking below.
