Star Wars: The Force Awakens' actor John Boyega has made no attempt to hide his love of the Star Wars franchise, and it looks like that love extends to the gaming world, too! Boyega, who starred as Finn in The Force Awakens, engaged EA's official Star Wars Twitter account to make a request most fans have been making since the games release.

"Will fans get a full on offline story mode? It's more of an enjoyable way to learn controls. Been playing Battlefront for years."

EA responded by asking if Boyega had tried out the game’s Missions to which he replied, “Yeah thought it was great! But definitely leaves you wanting to engage within a narrative." Boyega requested permission to visit EA’s UK base, to which EA replied stating an arrangement could be made.

EA's first foray in the "Battlefront" franchise drew heavy criticism for a general lack of content, including the absence of fan-favorite modes such as single player campaign, or Galactic Conquest. EA recently revealed details of the upcoming Outer Rim DLC, the first of Star Wars Battlefront's four DLC packs. It will include two new maps, a new mode, new weapons, along with Greedo and Nien Nunb as playable characters.

Do you agree with Boyega? What do you want to see in future installments of the Battlefront franchise?

Really, star wars games should be coming out more frequently. The brand sells ANYTHING and could easily be an annual event...

Never bought the game because there was no campaign.

When the contract between Disney and EA ends, Disney needs to revive LucasArts, and start getting serious with their gaming division. They have all these awesome properties, and yet they're not putting enough effort into making games for them.
