As you can see below, new set photos for the eighth
Star Wars film has surfaced! It gives us a look at the film's new alien creatures, and it reveals a scene that's filmed atop a Yacht. Based on the images, it seems as though Rian Johnson will be taking a different approach to the next film in the Star Wars franchise. However, there's a catch that'll really get you thinking about how legit these images are, and if there even for the next
Star Wars film, and not just a diversion by Disney.
Disney reportedly spent $3 million on better security for the film, which included drones that sought out to protect the set and prevent any leaks, on top of the security team they already had. For their set at Pinewood Studios, they had a
"special team with drones, 600 guards and 24-hour security". If this was indeed for
Star Wars: Episode VIII, I would only expect them to have something similar. Also, considering the fact that
THIS security guard sat there and watched a fan snap some pictures, it makes me wonder if fans simply just found their away around Disney's $3 million security, or if this is even for the next Star Wars film. Finally, none of the main cast members have been spotted around the area, just the people you see in the images.
Now, it's all possible that these are real, and it's just focusing on a scene on a new planet, with new characters; or it could be a fake out. Take a look at the video and images below, then reveal in the comment section whether or not you think this is a ploy on the part of Disney.
