New STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Trailer Rated; Could Be With Us Soon

UPDATE: Turns out this is the listing for the D23 trailer!

We got some exciting new footage from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker a couple of weeks ago at D23, and it looks like we could see a brand new trailer pretty soon.

"Trailer C" has been rated (12A) by the British Board of Film Classification, and has a runtime of 2 minutes and 16 seconds. The post doesn't provide any indication of when the trailer will be released, but there's speculation that it could debut during Monday Night Football on Oct. 14, as The Last Jedi's final trailer dropped just a few days earlier on Oct. 9 back in 2017.

Hopefully we'll get more details on this soon, but in the meantime you can have another look at the D23 teaser down below.

Lucasfilm and director J.J. Abrams join forces once again to take viewers on an epic journey to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the riveting conclusion of the seminal Skywalker saga, where new legends will be born and the final battle for freedom is yet to come. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker opens in U.S. theaters on December 20.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, Naomi Ackie, Domhnall Gleeson, Richard E. Grant, Lupita Nyong’o, Keri Russell, Joonas Suotamo, Kelly Marie Tran, and Billy Dee Williams. The movie will be with us this December.

Given the plot leak seems to be getting confirmed more and more with each new thing, we all know where this film is heading. In fact, it's starting to resemble Transformers; The Last Knight.

Optimus (Kylo) and Bumblebee (Rey) fight on a spaceship in the ocean.

Bumblebee (Rey) manages to defeat Optimus (Kylo) and this convinces Optimus (Kylo) to turn good.

Together Optimus (Kylo) & Bumblebee (Rey) set off to defeat Quintessa (Emperor) who plans to use Unicron (Fleet of 'Death Star' augmented Star Destroyers) to destroy everything

Optimus (Kylo) is injured by Quintessa (Emperor) during the fight, however Bumblebee (Rey) saves him and the two manage to defeat Quintessa (Emperor)

Meanwhile the human characters manage to take down the spaceship that will unlock Unicron (Fleet of 'Death Star' augmented Star Destroyers) leaving it immobilised and useless.

@TheDoctor1225

I thought they were spinning there wheels in the movie and not going much anywhere.

Holdo’s motivation didn’t make a whole lot of sense besides: “trust me, we have a plan.” Poe came off as kind of a dumbass hothead in that plot.

Finn repeated his arc from the first movie but now he’s in an awkward love triangle.

Rey may have nobody parents? We don’t know for sure yet.

It was just disappointing to me. Beautifully shot but not much substance.

Kylo is easily the MVP of this series.
