While fans celebrated May the Fourth over the weekend, Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm released nearly fifteen ultra hi-resolution promotional stills from Solo: A Star Wars Story

2x Academy Award-winner Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind) helmed the upcoming blockbuster, which features a cast headlined by Alden Ehrenreich (Rules Don't Apply) as the young Solo. He's joined by a star-studded supporting cast that includes Woody Harrelson (Venom), Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Donald Glover (Atlanta), Thandie Newton (Westworld), Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Joonas Suotamo (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), and Paul Bettany (Avengers: Infinity War), amongst others.

Check out all of the new stills, in full ultra hi-resolution, below:

Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) hangs on for his life. While we've seen this shot before in an issue of Entertainment Weekly, Disney has given us a much better look at Han's situation as he attempts to presumably escape the scene after carrying out a heist on the Conveyex in Vandor.

Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) meets Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) in this soon-to-be-iconic shot from the upcoming movie. While the scene has been teased plenty in the trailers and clips, fans have yet-to-see how exactly Han beats Lando in a game of Corellian Spike sabacc to win the Millenium Falcon.

Meet Han's (Alden Ehrenreich) oldest friend and partner-in-crime Qi'ra (Emilia Clarke), who is seen here in one of her many guises. In a past interview, Clarke teased her character's motivations, "She has a couple of guises, but essentially she is just fighting to stay alive. If you've got a really glamorous lady in a really sordid environment, you kind of know the glamor is hiding a few rough roads."

Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich), Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson), and Val (Thandie Newton) survey the horizon. While we don't know exactly where they are, it looks to be Vandor since that's the only snowy planet expected to make an appearance in the upcoming spinoff.

A much-younger Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) is ready for his closeup. The 190-year-old Wookiee joins his lifelong pal Han (Alden Ehrenreich) on their first mission, which will be to carry out an extremely dangerous heist of the Conveyex.

ARROW

The legendary Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) pilots the Millenium Falcon in a scene that presumably takes place not long before he loses the iconic ship to his new friend Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich).

ARROW

A cool shot of L3-37 (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), who appears to be a friend of Lando Calrissian's (Donald Glover). The extent of the droid's role remains to be seen, but it sure looks like she'll be getting right into the thick of the action.

ARROW

Josh Brolin (Thanos) isn't the only Avengers: Infinity War star with multiple big films due out this summer as one of his victims, Paul Bettany (Vision), is all-set to play the main villain in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Here's a much better look at Bettany as the menacing Dryden Vos.

ARROW

Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) and Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) plot their next move in a shady bar at an undisclosed location. The pair will undoubtedly share a lot of screentime together as fans get to spend time with them several decades before the tragic events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens

ARROW

The one-and-only Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) looking his absolute best as he contemplates an interesting proposal. The movie is expected to offer a ton of new backstory as it establishs the long-standing friendship between Lando and Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich).

ARROW

L3-37 (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) engages in battle. According to a recent Entertainment Weekly article, the droid will be a self-modified droid that belongs to no one. She's essentially a one-of-a-kind droid that routinely assembled and improved herself with scraps from other droids.

Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) attempts to prove his worth to both Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson) and Val (Thandie Newton) over dinner as he tries to join their Conveyex heist. We already know he'll succeed in convincing them, but could he be in for more than he bargained for?

ARROW

Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) and Chewie (Joonas Suotamo) embark on will soon be known as the first of many countless intergalactic adventures. While we already know how the dynamic duo's story ends, the movie will reveal to fans how it began.

Variety has confirmed that Solo: A Star Wars Story has secured a day-and-date release in China on May 25th. This should bode well for the spinoff's worldwide opening numbers as it barrels headfirst toward a record-setting Memorial Day weekend. Disney and Lucasfilm have also debuted a new international poster, which you can view above.

With tickets now on sale, AMC Theatres has shared two exclusive posters that they will be handing out to viewers if they see the movie on either Sunday, May 27th or Sunday, June 3rd. The first poster highlights the heroes of the piece while the second seems to place a spotlight on the villains.

Here's the new Dolby Cinema-exclusive poster, featuring Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich), Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo), Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover), Qi'ra (Emilia Clarke), Val (Thandie Newton), L3-37 (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) and Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson) front-and-center.
