SPOILERS: This ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY Cast Member Is Signed Up For One More Movie

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS For Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Follow From This Point Onwards!

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is very much a standalone movie, but could some of the newly introduced characters return? Well, considering the fact they all die, it's highly unlikely, but you have to believe that they're still going to live on in comic books, novels, and merchandise. However, in the case of one character, it sounds like Disney and Lucasfilm may still have plans for them on the big screen.

In case you hadn't already guessed, we're talking about Felicity Jones' Jyn Erso. The Hollywood Reporter reveals that the Oscar winning British actress, "has one sequel option in her contract."
It's also mentioned that Jones was the highest paid member of the Rogue One cast with a seven figure salary. The likes of Diego Luna and Ben Mendelssohn meanwhile walked away with a sum in the mid six figure range, and this could be a sign that Lucasfilm is determined to keep her around. How that sequel option could be used remains to be seen, but a younger version of Jyn could show up in Han Solo or a movie exploring what exactly the character was getting up to before the events of Rogue One.

The latter wouldn't really be that necessary (especially while so many other characters sit on the shelf), but this reveal is definitely pretty interesting. What do you guys think? Share your thoughts below.

@TheBeard - @SuperCat @TruePunishment Rogue One is just a good movie, is pretty solid, the big flaw is that like in all the Prequels you really dont know why we needed this movie.

So if you alredy have seen each Star Wars film and you alredy know the entire picture of how everything ends, this movie is pretty unnecessary. But this movie i believe works perfect like a stand alone movie.

This easily works better like movie to see before seeing "A New Hope" for the first time, because in that case you really dont know shit and this is a perfect introduction to everything you need to know.

The Best parts of Rogue One are the Fan Service ones, like Vade who has like 2 really cool scenes, the Death Star scenes, the best part and the only reason why this movie needs to exist is because it fix and explain the big flaw or plot hole everyone complains about in New Hope.

The Characters are pretty good, like all the movies today, there isnt enough screentime, too much exposition, we need less than enough, even about Jyn we should have learn more.

The movie is pretty good, pretty solid, enjoy it men.

Oh ya she can totally come back for another Star Wars movie. If they ever go back to Scarif she will play the role of ash they find on the ground because she was vaporized by the wall of fire from the Death Star blast.

Just saw it, same War, different movie. Really getting repetitive.
K-2SO had the best lines and most personality in the movie

@st1s - You aren't very familiar with the Star Wars universe, are you? The whole dynamic is the Light versus the Dark as personified by The Rebels/Republic/Jedi and The Empire/Sith/Knights of Ren.
