When Disney acquired Lucasfilm for a massive $4 billion, the decision was made to scrap the Star Wars Expanded Universe and essentially start over with a clean slate. Wiping away so much history upset fans but a lot of characters and ideas from that era of storytelling have since been incorporated into what we've seen in theaters and on Disney+.
Now, Hasbro has shared a first look (via SFFGazette.com) at a new 4-pack of Black Series action figures based on Star Wars: The Last Command.
The comic book series was based on Timothy Zahn's "Heir to the Empire" trilogy and this set brings together the main characters from the story's final battle: Luke Skywalker, Mara Jade, the villainous Joruus C'baoth, and Luke's twisted clone, Luuke (yes, that was his actual name).

Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade must confront Joruus C’baoth in a last ditch effort to save the Republic from Grand Admiral Thrawn’s overwhelming forces.
The characters included in the pack include Luke Skywalker, Luuke, Joruus C’baoth and Mara Jade. Fans and collectors can display these fully articulated figures featuring premium detail and multiple points of articulation in their collection. Includes 4 figures and 8 comics-inspired accessories including 4 Lightsabers, 2 lightning hands for Joruus C’baoth and an alternate head and blaster for Mara Jade.
Joruus C'Baoth is a deranged clone of the Jedi Master of the same name and was a Dark Jedi determined to bring Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa-Solo, and Mara Jade under his control.
Mara, meanwhile, was once the Emperor's Hand and was present in Jabba the Hutt's palace during Return of the Jedi. She didn't make it onto the sail barge so was unable to stop Luke and initially blamed him both for her Master's defeat and the fact she lost everything. Ultimately, she joins forces with Luke to stop Joruus and Luuke.
He may have a silly name, but in this story, we discover that Vader retrieved Luke's hand and lightsaber on Cloud City, and it was that which eventually allowed C'Baoth to make "Luuke." While mostly a puppet for the deranged elder clone, he wielded Luke's blue blade in a thrilling duel which saw the duplicate very nearly overpower the real deal.
