Fans of Lucas' original Star Wars trilogy will be thrilled to have the chance to see the classic films on the big screen, especially those who were too young for their original release or for the 1997 theatrical re-release.

The films will be screening in 20 locations over August, with the tickets going on sale on Star Wars day (May the 4th) at
ReturnOfTheTrilogy.com

Those fans hoping for a re-release of the original cuts might be dissapointed to hear that it will be the 1997 versions of the films screening, but will at least get some joy from not having to see a big screen version of Hayden Christensen's force ghost shoehorned into the final scenes of Return of the Jedi.

I actually liked the Christensen ghost. Had a more emotional impact after watching the series in chronological order
