STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Set To Have A Post Credit Scene That Teases [SPOILER]?

We haven't have much details regarding Star Wars: The Force Awakens. They kept the plot secret, they're hiding last names, and we haven't even seen Luke Skywalker yet! However, according to a new rumor, we just might know what this film's post credit scene is...

According to a report by Schmoes Know, a “trusted source” has notified them of a possible Star Wars: The Force Awakens post-credit scene! What will it feature? Well, according to the source, it will tease "a small clip and teaser for Rogue One (A Star Wars story)." The details at this time are very little, so take this report with a grain of salt.

With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story currently filming now, they should definitely have some footage to display come December. Also, with Marvel's popular trend of after-credit scenes, I wouldn't be surprised to see Star Wars join in on the fun and tease their next film! Even so, Disney and Lucasfilm could possibly change things up at any time, so don't be surprised if this clip is not shown! The report says their source is reliable, so let's hope this information is credible.

Stay tuned for any updates regarding this story! For now, share your thoughts in the comment section below!

An add for the next movie is fine, but please no post-credits exclusive scenes - that's a Marvel gimmick.

"Thats a marvel gimmick" not even close. Many movies have done it before.

It just doesnt make sense to me in this case. It doesnt take place after 7, so it could be confusing.

My sources tell me that the post-credit scene will contain Thanos.

In all seriousness, I would've preferred that Star Wars didn't do this. It's a Marvel thing and it works very well for them, not sure it would be the same for Star Wars.

After-credits scenes are [frick]ing stupid. Sit through 10 minutes of credits just to watch some 30 second bullshit that's already leaked on the internet the month before.

Hope this is not true.
So not Star Wars.

But then, "Awakens" is so not Star Wars. So I guess it doesn't matter.

I don't know whether or not this movie will be good or bad, but, the way I see it, it'll be like having a crush on a girl for 60 years and then finally getting to fvck her.
Not quite what you first imagined, but it'll do.

It would be cool to see a ravager ship at a star port somewhere .

I don't like and after credit teaser , would rather have it in the middle of the credits because by then I can't hold it much longer after not wanting to miss any of the movie and usually drinking one of the largest cokes they sell .

So it's literally just a commercial for the completely unrelated spin-off? Not even a tease of the next movie in the trilogy? That would be such bullshit.

@BestAtWhatIDo @marvelstudios @neihofft @SauronsBANE

On io9's post about this, a commenter had the perfect idea for a Force Awakens end-credits scene and it'd arguably be the greatest trolling of all-time:

"“Finn, Rey, Poe Dameron. My name is Mace Windu. Have you heard of... the Jedi Initiative?”

HAHAHAHAHAHA. How awesome/hilarious is that?!?

@AlexanderLykins

To piggyback on that, here's the animated version:

I think the best thing about this is Michael Schur asked Patton to ad lib for approx. 8 minutes and that's what he came up with. hahaha
