STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER - Check Out The Special Look That Aired After Today's THE MANDALORIAN

Following today's episode of The Mandalorian, Disney+ shared a new "special look" at Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and you can check out the clip featuring the Millennium Falcon after the jump...

Depending on where you live, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is either a matter of hours or just one day away from arriving in theaters. While we wait, a new clip from the movie is doing the rounds.

Disney+ has dropped the latest episode of The Mandalorian early this week, and included a "Special Look" at the "Skywalker Saga" finale. Now, that's found its way online, and it can be viewed in the player below.

In the 90+ second clip, we see Poe Dameron, Finn, and Chewbacca on the run from the First Order in the Millennium Falcon, and it's easy to see why critics have been praising the action.

What exactly this trio is up to is hard to say with the footage taken out of context, and some fans are bound to be disappointed by this as many were hoping this "Special Look" who somehow tie The Mandalorian to The Rise of Skywalker. As of right now, that doesn't appear to be the plan, and there are no real indications that the season finale will link to The Emperor or anything else.

Critics Consensus: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker suffers from a frustrating lack of imagination, but concludes this beloved saga with fan-focused devotion.

I don't understand the back-breaking maneuvers ordinary people are doing online to explain why Kathleen Kennedy shouldn't be removed from her position. How many [frick] ups/messy films/fired directors does one need before not getting the keys to literally one of the biggest and most profitable franchises in the history of the world. She obviously couldn't handle it, all of these creative decisions and hires come down on her, she's at the very top. She always worked alongside George at Lucasfilm. Once they paid him to [frick] off, this was a likely outcome to put the weight of the world on her shoulders. There were warning signs all over the past few years.

@SpideyPuffsMJ - Dave Filoni should be the new Lucasfilm president ASAP after the disaster that was this trilogy.

Lol, it's actually almost 10% lower than AOTC on RT. 56% right now. This is worse than I thought.

This is kind of irrelevant but I just want to say it because I've been thinking about it for a couple of days.

Doesn't it feel like Alec Guiness only featured in A New Hope? Despite that he was actually in the entire OT.

Also, is there any reference to Obi-Wan in The Last Jedi? If not, it's the only Star Wars film without his presence. Similarly, I think The Force Awakens is the only Star Wars movie without a reference to Yoda.

Actually, scratch the Yoda bit. He's also absent from A New Hope — fittingly enough given that he's absent from TFA.

@Nebula - His voice is in TFA but it can't really be heard clearly.

Whatever happens with this movie, I wish people wouldn't say it's the end of an era, or the end of something that started 40 years ago etc. A few years ago as far as anyone knew there were never going to be any more Star Wars films. Before that, I grew up in a decade where Star Wars ended before I was born and it was something only my older cousins were still into. Star Wars has ended before and it will end again. Just because these films were apocryphally book ended onto ROTJ doesn't make them any more final.
