The ranks are back! With THE LAST JEDI firmly on the horizon, I thought it would be a perfect time for the ComicBookMovie.com community to RANK THE STAR WARS FILMS.

The method is simple and if you remember the series of ranking articles we had back on this site in July you'll be familiar, all you have to do is rank each of the Star Wars films 1 - 8, the ranking corresponding with a point - once everyone has voted (or once participation drops) I'll add my rankings and then add all the points up and the film with the lowest scoring will be the highest on CBM.com's acculumative rankings and so on and so forth.

As such do try to avoid having films tied at a position and please feel free to give reasons and what have you, and rank in whatever criteria is pertinent to YOU however you measure quality, objectively or subjectively - it's completely up to you.

I like them all and for me the bottom 2 are pretty equal, although if you cut Bink's, and a different actor for young Anakin, TPM would probably be top half if my list...maybe...

These are ranked for my enjoyment watching them in 2017. Naturally per 1977 standards New Hope is probably the best because it started it all from nothing. But it's hard to watch 70s sci-fi movies when modern day sfx exists.

This is a hard one. Mainly because I love each movie of original trilogy equally. Besides that I like III and Rogue One really as great expansions for the original trilogy. Lastly I also loved VII at the premiere, but when watching it again I realized it has 0 rewatch value
