We should have gotten the king Conan movie a long time ago when Arnold was in his prime. Conan deserved a trilogy we got robbed.

King Conan needs to happen. But, what would it be about? The original had a very distinct voice because of the director/writer John Milius and his co-writer Oliver Stone. It wasn't very true to the source material. But, it was a huge success and popular. Arnold was obviously a huge part of that success too; but, scenes like Subatai chained up waiting to be eaten by wolves and the dialogue of those scenes made it a great movie. Conan wasn't some dumb, poorly written action flick.

Conan the Barbarian.
Another movie in which James Earl Jones tells the hero that he's his father.
