In Tie Fighter you fly on his wing in the newly minted Tie Defenders (the ship you can see in the hologram in a recent Star Wars Rebels episode).
It's kinda telling that Lucasarts largely avoided pitting you against him before they started to push heavily on consoles due to executive meddling.
