I hate being the one to say the UK version was better but it was by far. This one just seems weak and a bit too emo in that everyone except Harkness had to have a family moment like clock work. And just as I started to kinda sorta like the black guy character he just goes and demonstrates he is still a big A hole tool. Wont go into details or it would get into spoilers.

How can you guys say that when Russel T. Davies and company have literally transplanted 'en-masse' from the UK to the USA to work on 'Miracle Day'? Granted, it's not the Torchwood I was expecting (I was hoping Jack and Gwen would go on a quest to redicover the 'lost' hubs), but still it's not THAT bad! I gotta' say, Mekhi Phifer has GOT to go! Where did they get this guy from, the WWE School of Overacting?! I haven't seen this much angry cheese come from a black man since Mr T. in the original 'A-Team' ("I pitty the fool!")!

Just completed Season 1 of Torchwood and really enjoying the series, much better than Fringe here in the US. I got Miracle Day on my DVR and hope to be watching it by next month. I was worried the US version may not live up to the original series.

The cinematography and wolf effects are MUCH betterin the US version of Being Human for sure. And the tangible ghost thing in the UK version was a bit odd and inherentky non ghostlike.

I just wish we didn't steal American Idol. Thanks UK for ruining American TV with that glorified Gong show rip off.

@DonnsTib it doesnt live up to the original but the big gay scene almost "surpassed" the original. Seriously people being gay is one thing but I am just not too terribly interestrd in seeing gay softporn
