It has been said that China's region of Wulingyuan was James Cameron's inspiration for the "floating mountains" of Pandora in the film that made more money then any other film in History, "Avatar". Now, Chinese event organizers are taking advantage of this by offering couples to have an 'AVATAR Wedding Extravaganza'. How fun is that?
Not very fun at all. It doesn't sound like the show is going so well. According to one bride who for some reason signed up for the 'AVATAR Wedding Extravaganza':
"The Navi were a couple of forestry workers dressed up in long underwear dyed blue, wearing some very unconvincing masks. It was really pathetic,"
To which a Forestry Authority Spokesman responded:
"We are not professional special effects experts, but we do our best. What we are really highlighting is the beauty of our landscape."
Obviously not judging from the above picture. At this point couple's are more likely to duplicate the 'AVATAR' experience with 'AVATAR' playing in the background on a Big Screen TV. Weird but True! To each their own I guess.
