Recreating trailers with LEGO has become a fun pastime for a lot of movie fans, and the beloved building bricks have now been used to put a spectacular spin on Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

The latest sneak peek for the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel was released last month, and this effort recreates all the biggest moments with LEGO. That includes Miles Morales' battle with Spider-Man 2099, the return of fan-favourite characters like Spider-Gwen and Peter B. Parker, and Spider-Woman's highly anticipated debut.

Creator "LegoMe_TheOG" says it took three weeks to make, and it's already earned the approval of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse director Kemp Powers on Twitter. He called it "magnificent," while Miles' co-creator Brian Michael Bendis chimed in to say it was "outstanding."

The sequel looks set to introduce a whole host of Spider-Man Variants, though whether a LEGO one will swing in to lend a helping hand remains to be seen.

Check out the trailer (via Toonado.com) in the player below.

In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, after reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence.

However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

While lots of rumours are swirling, in terms of confirmed cast members, the movie will star Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld. Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham, and Oscar Isaac.

Written by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller and David Callaham, and directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, Justin K. Thompson, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse swings into theaters on June 2, 2023.

I love Lego too. Nice. Good work whoever made this 👏

This was outstanding! I love the trailer to begin with, but this was a really cool spin. Lego is off the charts! Hard to imagine they were almost bankrupt in 2003 with how well they are doing now. You can put Marvel there too as they were bankrupt in 1996 after the big comic boom of the early 90's! Amazing stories for both of the companies!

@AgentSmith - Funny you should say that as I just got the January LEGO catalog in the mail earlier this afternoon and the variety of sets that they have is amazing these days. The smartest thing that LEGO ever did was to acquire the licenses for all those big brands (Disney, Transformers, Marvel, etc.). I used to play with LEGOs when I was a kid and my 6 year old daughter LOVES to build the Disney Princess sets, but I did snag the Optimus Prime set when it was released, being a life-long Transformers fan. And looking at that catalog, they really are going in every direction possible. They even have a couple of sets for Chinese New Year! A true success story indeed as I believe that they are the #1 toy maker in the world.

@StSteven - the Star Wars license saved LEGO. Wish I could afford to keep up with everything but prices are just nuts on their sets. I desperately want the Guardians ship, the Benatar, but it's $150. Too much for toys these days.

Off topic: I know they could bring him back as a variant or whatever, but please tell me this isn't gonna happen.

@Feralwookiee - what’s so bad about this when every one else is returning?

@MyCoolYoung - I think it cheapens everything. I think the MCU is without direction, but if anything, it should be moving FORWARD, not looking backward.
Just my take.

@Feralwookiee - it’s secret wars. One of the biggest multiversal battles with the most characters in marvel comics. Not sure how you could say without direction when everything has been leading to secret wars. It’s a multiversal war to end the multiversal saga but to each their own.

@MyCoolYoung - Thanos had nothing to do with Secret Wars (at least not the original one in 1985). I don't see why they'd bring him back for this.

This is not a joke. My little jerk niece (not totally little...she's 39) got me a Lego Wolverine for Christmas. Muther[frick]er was like 4000 pieces. [frick] her, [frick] Lego. Took me 4 days. But, I do know what I'm getting her kids for Easter...A drum set, a bag pipe, and an out of shape accordian.

@Godzilla2000Zer - interesting. I have a friend who's favorite movie ever is THEM! he won't be happy about this lol the original is a good film but there's room to grow, however, not sure if this is the time for a THEM! remake. Who knows I could be off the money.

@AvatarSupremacy - I know several people wanted a Them remake for the MonsterVerse but personally I rather it be separate.

I think a Spider-Man movie in the style of the Lego Movie or the Lego Batman Movie (or even the forgotten Lego Ninjago Movie) could actually work pretty well
