With Spider-Man: No Way Home set for Bu-ray/DVD release on April 12, Sony Pictures has debuted a new trailer for the movie which puts the spotlights on Andrew Garfield's Spidey Variant (here dubbed "The Amazing Peter #3).

The teaser kicks off with the character's portal introduction scene from the threequel, before taking us back to the events of The Amazing Spider-Man movies. Parker failing to save Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) from the Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan) at the end of TASM 2 is intercut with footage of his emotional rescue of MJ (Zendaya) during No Way Home's climactic battle.

In related news, No Way Home picked up three Critics Choice Super Awards last night, including Best Superhero Movie, Best Actor in a Superhero Movie for Andrew Garfield, and Best Villain in a Movie for Willem Dafoe (The Green Goblin).

We don't know if we'll ever see Garfield's take on the wall-crawler again, but something tells us Sony/Marvel will be smart enough to capitalize on the huge swell of fan support he's received since reprising the role.

this little trailer thing did the moment better than the movie did. They should have played his theme when he shows up

Would not surprise me at all if Sony flexes NWH into another TASM movie. The argument for not running one in parallel with the MCU Spidey films was always that audiences could get confused. Kinda hard for that to happen now that they spent an entire movie explaining clearly that they're separate versions of the same character

Really sad that the Spideys were treated based more on fan response that on how they actually were on the movies.
