Spider-Man: No Way Home presented the MCU's Peter Parker with his greatest challenge yet in the form of a sinister quintet of villains. However, the Green Goblin quickly singled himself out as the wall-crawler's scariest new foe and pushed Spidey to his limits during that brutal apartment battle.
Despite battling Captain America and Thanos, Peter found himself outmatched by Norman Osborn, and the sight of the deranged villain laughing as Spider-Man pummelled him won't soon be forgotten.
In this new concept art from Spider-Man: No Way Home, we get a closer look at how the fight was dreamt up courtesy of artist Marek Okon. The hero, in his Iron Spider suit at this point, is decimated by the Green Goblin, finding himself completely defeated and at Norman's mercy when all is said and done.
We know Marvel Studios' visual development team contributed to the threequel, but they've yet to share any artwork. Hopefully, that's still to come, because we'd love to see the work that went into reimaging the appearance of these villains (not to mention Spider-Man's "Integrated suit). No "Art of" book has been announced as of yet, but fingers crossed one is eventually released.
