SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Featurette Reveals Another Hidden Villain In The Movie's Multiverse Tease

During Spider-Man: No Way Home's final act, the Multiverse was torn open and everyone who knows that Peter Parker is Spider-Man began to be pulled into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It was relatively easy to identify characters like Kraven the Hunter and Scorpion but, as expected, there were some surprises. In a clip from one of the threequel's featurettes, it's confirmed that the six-arm Spider-Man was among those being dragged from their respective Earths, but is he friend or foe?

Peter Parker gained four additional arms on the final page of Amazing Spider-Man #100, later heading into battle against Morbius with those extra appendages in Amazing Spider-Man #101. We're guessing this was yet another Spider-Man Variant rather than an unexpected foe, and it's certainly interesting that Marvel Studios decided to tease this particular transformation for the wall-crawler.

A Spider-Man 4 is in the early stages of development, and while many fans are wondering how that can possibly top what we saw in Spider-Man: No Way Home, heading down the route of Peter embracing his spider side in such an unexpected way could be a lot of fun. Either way, we'll be taking another look at this scene in the movie ASAP in order to see if there's any other Variants we missed...

Spider-Man: No Way Home releases on Digital today and physical platforms on April 12.

Will be interesting to see what is to come from Sony. Everything feels like a villian origin story but they are all heros in the movie? How is spiderman going to exist in that type of story everytime?
