Last month Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman in
Man Of Steel ) flew over to Japan to promote the movie overseas, he took over 10 interviews, here is just one of the interviews, Cavill discusses what it was like to finally recieve the role (Cavill had been the front runner for Superman in
Superman Returns & the cancelled film
Superman: Flyby ).
Man Of Steel flies into Japanese theaters August 30th, 2013.
Q: What was it like to get the role of Superman?
Cavill: It was quite surreal, very quite and I wasn't quite believing it. I was (laughs) running up and down the stairs at my house shouting. I then looked in the mirror and said "oh my goodness, I'm Superman"
Q: Did you have to go on any diet or particular training for the role?
Cavill: Yes, it took a lot of hard work, but one very enjoyable part of the diet was the after work out protein shake, which helped me become big and bulky (laughs) that was 5,000 calories a day and that involved coconut milk and peanut butter, and that was so delicious that it was almost sad that I finished it"
