James Gunn's SUPERMAN absolutely destroys FANTASTIC FOUR's 24 hour views.

Up, up and away!! DC's Superman destroys Fantastic Four in the first 24 hours. Marvel obviously won't be too pleased by seeing someone who they once fired destroy them (once again!)

In a significant display of audience anticipation, James Gunn's upcoming "Superman" film has achieved a remarkable milestone. The official teaser trailer garnered over 250 million views within its first 24 hours of release, making it the most viewed and discussed trailer in the history of both DC and Warner Bros.

In comparison, Marvel Studios' "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" teaser trailer, released shortly after, amassed 202 million views in its initial 24 hours (comicbook.com). This impressive figure marks the third-best trailer debut for Marvel, trailing only "Deadpool & Wolverine" and "Spider-Man: No Way Home."

The "Superman" trailer's unprecedented viewership underscores the high expectations surrounding James Gunn's vision for the iconic superhero. The film, set for release on July 11, 2025, features David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. The trailer offers a glimpse into a narrative that balances Superman's Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing, promising a fresh take on the beloved character. (People.com)

Meanwhile, "The Fantastic Four: First Steps," directed by Matt Shakman, introduces Marvel's First Family into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Set against a retro-futuristic 1960s backdrop, the film stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing. The trailer highlights the team's dynamic and hints at their upcoming challenges.

The substantial viewership numbers for both trailers reflect a robust interest in superhero narratives, with audiences eagerly awaiting these new interpretations. While "Superman" leads in trailer views, the strong performance of "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" indicates significant enthusiasm for both franchises as they prepare to make their respective cinematic debuts in 2025.

This must be a little painful for some of the editors on here, especially Josh Wilding who thinks F4 is a problem for the Kryptonian. Despite Superman beating every Marvel trailer but Spider-Man and Avengers: Endgame, it must show that Superman will be a force. Fantastic Four will be too.

Jurassic World will be releasing a new movie but it doesn't seem to be as important as Superman and Fantastic Four. But July seems to be very busy month indeed.

If you don't see the point in comparing F4 and Superman, and are looking forward to both? Enjoy yourself! It's gonna be an amazing time.

I assume Josh Wilding relates to Fantastic Four because all of the women in his life are invisible. YEET.

"File Under: Superman: Legacy" is a nice touch.

The movie is, and will always be, 'Superman 2025' on the 'net.

All that's missing from such a purposefully (and needlessly) antagonistic headline is the stereotypical "with facts and logic".

Nice.

@RockReigns - I would have loved to have featured this on the homepage of the site if you had put some effort into this by adding the embeds (which I just updated it for), and avoided insulting contributors to the site...
