The Man Of Steel prequel comic which is written by David Goyer, the scribe for the silver screen feature has been revealed to contain a reference to none other than Hawkman and Hawkgirl's homeworld, THANAGAR. It appears the Kryptonian High Council are not too fond of the "Barbaric" ways of their winged cosmic neighbors.

Personally I think this will be absolutely awesome if it leads to something and is not just there as fan service. But it's still great to know Thanagar and possibly OA and the rest of those other worlds exist in this universe.
So what do you think? leave your thoughts on this down below!

You called this a prequel, is it? MOS is an origin story, so a prequel wouldn't work to well unless we are following Jor-El. I thought it was just a tie in.

Either way, it looks like they are gearing up for an expanded universe, which is sweet. And i'd much rather see Hawkgirl than Hawkman if i had my way :)

Wouldn't it be cool if at Zod's sentencing one of the Council Member suggest they hand them over to the Corps?

That was not my intention. I like something different from an after end scene. I want WB/DC to try a different approach.

I like the after credit scene but
if I was DC not sure I'd use it
mostly because even though Marvel didn't invent it
people associate it with them

You know what
[frick] that
I'd use an after credit scene.

It's a great way to do a light intro or open the door to something without having to plant it in the middle of the actual story/film

Please make a Hawkman movie!!!!! I personally would make it as close to the Egyptian lore and Archaeologist side of Hawkman, but if they wanna throw in some Thanagar too, that sounds great as well!
