Superman hasn't been given the right attention on the big screen. However, maybe the small screen could be an option. According to
Fandomwire, the CW is in talks on greenlighting a Superman TV series right inside the Arrowverse.
Unfortunately, DC isn't
focusing on making Superman movies with Henry Cavill. On the bright side, it could open up a lot of room for Tyler Hoechlin to star as the Man of Steel. He first appeared on
Supergirl back in 2016 for a couple episodes. He's also supposed to reprise his role in the Arrowverse crossover
Elseworlds. If things get cooking, we potentially could have a Superman and Supergirl TV shows on the same network, along with
The Flash,
Arrow, and
Black Lightning.
Who knows? Maybe a certain, special league could be on the horizon. Regarless, this should all be taken with a grain of salt as of now. There isn't anything solid or concrete at the moment. However, something like this in development is definitely exciting.
