Dude is destined to lose an eye in everything he appears in.

First Battlestar and now Smallville. I haven't caught this ep yet, but I love that the Hawkman costume is so comic-accurate.

I've seen every episode since the start. However since the first 3 seasons, it has been getting worse by every season. It's very evident that the budget must be lower nowadays than in the beginning.

This bald guy with the eye patch is deathstroke? i figure slade wilson was younger who looks more like deadpool am i missing something here?????

Ceefus, yeah Wilson is supposed to be in his fifties or thereabouts. They should have given Hogan a goatee or hair piece though, all I see is Colonel Tighe kicking Hawkman's ass!

@ emerald maybe with hawkmans wings deployed the force of the explosion wasent strong enough to push him. After all they are going to be pretty strong and he's strong himself especially in the position he was in. Lois was near the window and standing up, she is also just a normal human..

Smallville has a lot of faults, but they did a good job with this scene. (and the CGI wings in particular) The ending was a little odd though, and far from an exciting mid-season cliffhanger. Supernatural on the other hand nailed it. Because it's a much better show. :P

Hope Hawkman isn't permanently dead, he's my favorite character on the show. I think him and the JSA deserve their own show, maybe have the frist season be about him and Stargirl trying to find the other members. We've had shows about single characters before we need a show about a team (that stupid justice league show from a while back doesn't count).

THE SOONER EVERYONE STOPS COMPARING SMALLVILLE TO THE COMICS, THE BETTER OFF YOU WILL BE. IT IS A STORY AND A UNIVERSE ALL IT'S OWN. NO, ITS NOT PERFECT BUT ITS BEEN ON FOR TEN YEARS, MUST BE DOIN SOMETHING RIGHT. IF THEY HAD MORE MONEY, I BET THIS SHOW WOULD BLOW EVERYONES MIND, BUT WHAT CAN WE ALL EXPECT WHEN YOU ALL WATCH SHITFESTS LIKE JERSEY SHORE. hi ya,guys.

well,i like hawkman(comic version)but where did his wings go no way could they fit in that box on his back & does he ever do that in the comic because i've never seen him do that.

also when he smacks deathstroke in the back with his mace he falls down & rolls out of the way before next blow makes contact which makes a huge hole in the floor shouldn't it of done more damage to deathstroke.

i must say his wings looked better than they usually do,but the show is still shit.

lol, Lee, liberties taken with the source material aside, if you think the first 2 X movies..actually make that ANY of the X movies, are in any way shape or form as bad as Smallville your insane. I agree that Smallville CAN be decent, but its so inconsistent that its difficult to praise it. The Majority of the time its like watching The Young And The Restless with superpowers.

I didn't see it either but lemme guess, that was the ONLY fight during the entire 45 minute episode. Smallville is incapable of having more than 2 to 3 minutes of action or fighting. The rest indeed is The Young and The Restless with superpowers, which is why I stopped watching.

Smallville is only a TV show with a limited budget, nothing else like it on TV based on comic book heroes other than the animated cartoon version, can
you imagine whenever DC gets on a roll with actual action
packed movies on the big screen like a "Justice League of America" movie or "Justice Society of America" movie, how
cool it will be! full budget movies with alot of action, alot of heroes in their costumes, this is the only way i see it being done right! another good thing about Smallville is that it kind of builds a better fanbase for those who don't read comic books or didn't know who is Aquaman, Stargirl, Martian Manhunter or Hawkman etc , so when these movies come out,it will draw more people to want to see it than therefore
having alot more fans, more movie spinoffs & sequels!

Does anyone know when the last time Clark ACTUALLY USED his powers was?? especially the cool ones like heat vision and freeze breath, and god only knows when we'll see him fly, if at all.. I mean it just feels kinda stupid that they wanna go that same route of "clark loses his powers" again.. its kind of pointless cuz he really doesnt use them as much as he should.. and honestly thats been overdone on smallville imo. come up with something fresh please.. smallville really sucks now...
