This fan film is gonna blow HARD for 3 reasons.

1) It is attached to the Donner universe.

2) Superman loses his powers in this...so I doubt we will see much action.

3) The villain seems retarded. What is it...Lex Luthor's son? Why not Brainiac or Metallo or something. Hell I would've even settled on Zod despite him being in MOS.

Plus the guy playing Superman I still say looks like creepy as hell. I would have settled on Routh returning for this fan film instead of this creepy looking guy.
