The comic was just a contrived rebuff of the success of Wildstorm's Authority superteam, his villains were all parodies of that team. His point to try and vindicate the pointlessness of the traditional superhero locking up the same supervillain again, and again, and again.. With the Authority, they just flat out and kill the villains, point made, common sense vindicated!

This cartoon will be crap, DC would have been better off just making an animated film of the Authority instead and gained a whole new bunch of adult fans instead of this goody-two-shoes boy scout crap all over again with shite animation.

Joe Kelly should come back to Deadpool some time. Way is good and all, but nobody's written Deadpool like Kelly did.
