Cameras are set to start rolling on the upcoming Bumblebee movie, and star Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit, The Edge of Seventeen) has shared a first glimpse of her character to social media.
According to the film's synopsis, Steinfeld's Charlie Watson is "on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world when she discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug."
We recently found out that the Transformers spin-off had been given a new release date, and will now open on December 21 - the same day Jason Momoa's King of Atlantis swims into theaters in Aquaman.
The Bumblebee movie also stars John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg, Jason Drucker, Abby Quinn, Rachel Crow, Ricardo Hoyos and Gracie Dzienny
