Thanks to tfw2005.com, we have images and information pertaining to a newly unveiled transformer that will be seen in Michael Bay's upcoming film, Transformers: Age of Extinction. The new transformer will be seen as a new Chevrolet TRAX when in car-mode. The images and info you see below are part of Shanghai General Motors' new advertising campaign that will tie-in with the film. The vehicle was seen during filming in Hong Kong.

""This summer, Michael Bay's highly publicized Transformers: Age of Extinction will be revealed, Chevrolet TRAX will be featuring a role as part of the new generation of transformers, it is the first time this Chevrolet SUV is in the movie transformers.

The Chevrolet TRAX official debut will also include interactive network activities. Between now and April 15, the interactive campaign titled "start your first Transformer" will be focused on "sGMTRAX" micro account allowing to participate in personality tests and share favorite transformers images.""

Starring in "Transformers 4" is Jack Reynor in the starring role of a race car driver. The talented and beautiful Nicola Peltz has been cast in the female lead role of Reynor's girlfriend. Mark Wahlberg has signed on to play Nicola's father Flynn Vincent. Sophia Myles will play a major role as a scientist. Peter Cullen returns as the voice of Optimus Prime, and Glenn Morshower reprises his role as General Morshower. Kelsey Grammer was recently cast as the lead villain named "Harold Attinger". Directors Guild of America DGA Award winner Michael Bay will return to direct his fourth installment of the film series from a screenplay written by Ehren Kruger.

TRANSFORMERS 4 will be directed by Michael Bay, from a script written by Ehren Kruger. The cast includes: Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammar, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci and Jack Reynor. Set for release on June 27th, 2014!
