Hasbro Confirms TRANSFORMERS 5.... And 6. And 7. And 8

Did you love Transformers 4 where we saw Optimus Prime teaming up with Dinobots and Marky Mark that was 2014's highest grossing film? Well you're going to love news that the Transformers films will be going on until 2025 feature 4 more sequels.

The Transformers movie series is one of the highest grossing film series out there. It has everything that's key to making a hit summer blockbuster. Big robots fighting other big robots. Great actors like John Goodman, Hugo Weaving, John Malkovich, Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, and others. Also it has great fight scenes and explosions.

Recently Hasbro got together with great writers that plotted out the next 10 years of the series. The list of writers include Batman And Robin's Akiva Goldsman, Black Hawk Down writer Ken Nolan, Christina Hodson and Lindsey Beer, Barrer & Ferrari, Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, Iron Man scribes Art Marcum & Matt Holloway, The Avengers‘s Zak Penn, Amazing Spider-Man 2's Jeff Pinkner, Spartacus creator and Daredevil showrunner Steven DeKnight and Geneva Robertson-Dworet. Now Hasbro’s executive vice president Stephen Davis confirmed that 4 more Transformers sequels are coming soon. Check at the 13:30 mark.

"Transformers 5 is on it's way. And 6 and 7 and 8."

What are your thoughts on this exciting news? Are you excited for future Transformers films? Would you like Shia to return? Comment below, let me know. Peace and remember....

I have to think he's probably referring to the prequel/spin-offs there.

I just like that studios do movies these days not just because they make money....they do it because they want to tell a story.

But that would be cool if some of these sequels were just spinooffs or simething. Possibly with variety concerning tone and story?? One can hope.

I hope Josh Duhamel will return for these ones. He was the best actor in the original ones. I also wonder why it's taken so long for Hasbro to do anything with Dungeons & Dragons. Another one that would work is Magic: The Gathering.

One series that should be rebooted though is G.I. Joe. If you look back and how it was made you would know it was supposed to be a Marvel property. I remember hearing that they pitched the idea of it being a part of S.H.I.E.L.D. but Marvel said no. So S.H.I.E.L.D. became G.I. Joe, Hydra became Cobra and Red Skull became Cobra Commander. I really wish they could get that right, because that would be their big superhero series on the big screen.

The films have only become better imo. No one in them is winning an oscar, but thats not what they're for. Sit back and watch Michael Bay Presents: Robot Explosions!

I don't care. I haven't seen 4, and unless I am surprisingly impressed by previews I don't expect to see (or at least pay to see) any future ones either. People pumping out movies I'm not interested in see does me no harm.

Invictor - 10/3/2015, 3:25 PM
And people keep saying that this is all good because of the fact that the movies are only like fireworks; they're only mean to go boom with explosions. Movie execs see the toleration of shit like this and make even more of these movies to the point where this will be the only thing they put out in theaters.

@FrozenMarvelite why blame movie studios for wanting to make money? They are a business so it would be stupid not to milk this franchise. Blame the audience for making it a billion dollar franchise.
Darkknight2149
Darkknight2149 - 10/3/2015, 3:47 PM
If Michael Bay or some other awful film maker is involved, I'm not wasting my money on a single one of these films. I think the rest of the audience will finally catch on as well.
Darkknight2149
Darkknight2149 - 10/3/2015, 3:50 PM
And no matter how many times we are promised a "fresh start" with the franchise, we are only going to get the same crap as long as Michael Bay and the others are involved.
