TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION - The film begins after an epic battle that left a great city torn, but with the world saved. As humanity picks up the pieces, a shadowy group reveals itself in an attempt to control the direction of history… while an ancient, powerful new menace sets Earth in its crosshairs. With help from a new cast of humans, Optimus Prime and the Autobots rise to meet their most fearsome challenge yet. In an incredible adventure, they are swept up in a war of good and evil, ultimately leading to a climactic battle across the world.

TRANSFORMERS 4 will be directed by Michael Bay, from a script written by Ehren Kruger. The cast includes: Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammar, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci and Jack Reynor. Set for release on June 27th, 2014!

Seen it with the kids, meh but the kid's enjoyed it. Depends on what they did with the female "widow" could of been cool? But doubt it....

Rally Fighter is a cool off road vehicle though.

This movie is further proof that this franchise is terrible and can in no way be defended just because its based on a cartoon and toys.

Anyone else annoyed that the faces of the robots look like robots. There are no iconic features on them apart from prime.

After this weekend it'll be about $100m behind the pace of TF3 and still falling further and further behind domestically. That's a bigger loss than Amazing Spider-man 2 suffered. It's a shame that the bad tastes of Chinese movie-goers are sparring Paramount from having to consider making a change in this franchise.

I'm actually really annoyed that we haven't had any prominant Female autobots or decepticons!
We had Arcee but it was practically a long cameo and she didn't really do much.

I agree with CherryBomb. Female Transformers if done well could be beasts in this series. The best female in years was on Transformers Prime. Airachnid was a totally beast on that show. As for this lady I'm not a fan of this design. It will be interesting to see what new creatures they bring in for the next movie. Dinobots were in the last one. So maybe the next will show Predacons

I like the concept but it would have been wasted in this movie. Lockdown was an interesting character and she (whatever her name would have been)could have been an interesting part of his group. Kind of the Faora to Lockdown's Zod. But there were too many subplots as it was. She'd have been as lost as the Dinobots in that mess. One of the problems with Bay's movies is that the villains are faceless random robots and when they buy it you couldn't care less. The few villains that got any characterization like Starscream, Soundwave and Shockwave are dead. Some time needs to be spent on villain characters besides the leader.

As far as female characters, I would like to see Elita One show up in Transformers - not necessarily Bay's Transformers but somewhere. And I agree on Black Arachnia. She was one of the best things to come out of Beast Wars. Her and Dinobot.

the numbers for this movie in the usa are really low. this movie series is dying in the usa. im glad.

i will be interested again when the reboot it.

So I just watched this a couple hours ago. Things I liked....more time spent with the Autobots, and I liked Cade Yaeger better than Sam Witwicky. Things I didnt like.....how long the movie was, and not enough Galvatron or the Dinobots.

What posses me off about this franchise is what it does to my favorite characters. Sure I love Bumblebee and Optimus. But growing up I loved Jazz and Sideswipe. One character gets killed off right away, and the other is in two films and we dont learn anything about him. Just waisted. Plus where is he now? It sure seems like he was killed off too. Drift did say they were the ONLY ones left. Plus Optimus had no care for looking for more survivors before going all Superman and flying away. I have come to really enjoy the character Drift in the comics. I dont know how I feel about this version. Plus, if you were going to introduce a triple changer that transforms from a car and a helicopter, why not make that character Springer, he could of taken Crosshairs spot. Another waisted chance for a popular character.
