Alan Tudyk is joining John Malkovich, Frances McDormand and Patrick Dempsey as human newbies on this fighting giant robot franchies.
Tudyk is a veteran of fan-favorite Joss Whedon's shows "Firefly" and "Dollhouse," Alan has a recurring role on ABC's "V" and recently starred opposite Dermot Mulroney in the pilot for NBC's proposed remake of "The Rockford Files."
He's been seen bigscreen films in "3:10 to Yuma," "Knocked Up" and "Dodgeball," and most recently toplined "Tucker & Dale vs. Evil," which won the Audience Award at this year's SXSW Film Festival. Next for Tudyk will be starring opposite Michael Sheen and Maria Bello in Shawn Ku's school shooting drama "Beautiful Boy."
