The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime "Transformers" character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.

Transformers: The Dark of the Moon is set to be released in 3D on July 1, 2011!

I actually enjoyed both Transformers movies. Sure, they're not that well acted and hardly have the most intellegent of scripts but they are good fun and a very nice looking addition to my blu-ray collection. :P

nuck82: What!?

Transformers 1 was good.

Transformers ROTF had great fight scenes between the transformers but the rest of the movie was stupid as F#uck
I can only watch the fight scenes everything else is a waste of time.

Transformers The Dark of the Moon will be another piece of shit.............You will literally have to program yourself to walk into the theater turn off your brain and only turn it back on when u see the Tranformers on screen.

See thats not what the movie experience is suppose to be.
It only goes to show how many stupid ppl we have in our country. The Stupid should not be allowed to reproduce they outnumber the thinkers 10 to 1. They dumb down the arts and culture in general. Its sad. We are a country of idiots.

Y'know, I thought that saying the title of the movie out loud might not be as bad but....nope. In fact, I think it got worse.

Oh look, another Transformers article, and another round of the same people saying the same pointless crap. We get it. Some of you absolutely hate anything that's just for fun. If you don't have to think, it sucks. If it's not dark, if it's not gritty, if it's not "realistic," it sucks. Blah, blah, blah.

If this was a Smallville article, there'd already be about twenty posts telling people, "If you don't like Smallville, why click on every article?"

It's nice though that anyone who likes these movies, or any other film that is simple entertainment, is automatically equated with abject idiocy, and are the sole cause of the dumbing down of America. Because there's absolutely NO WAY anyone could appreciate something more "meaningful," while at the same time still enjoy some mindless fun. Nope. People can ONLY enjoy ONE type of film. Sad, really. We are a country self-important assbags who think OUR opinion, (and those who whole-heartedly agree with us, of course,) is the correct one.

@DCompose - Is THAT what's been wrong with the majority on this site for the past couple of years? The ones who go into damn near every article and talk about what all these movies do "wrong," and how they are all a personal affront to every TRUE comics and movie fan. I thought they were simply being elitist snobs with an inflated, (though misplaced,) sense of superiority. Trying to elevate themselves above the "common folk" by yammering on and on about character arcs and plot develpoment and how much Michael Bay and others like him suck, and the HUGE box office they bring in simply means the majority are uncouth morons with no sense of artistic ability whatsoever.

But as it turns out, all they needed was a Motrin and a fresh tampon. Go figure.
