Tickets for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts went on sale earlier this week, and Paramount Pictures has now shared (via SFFGazette.com) even more epic posters for the movie.

They're accompanied by a featurette exploring the new additions to the long-running franchise, and both that and a brief promo are packed full of action-packed footage from the movie. It feels like the series is pulling a lot of inspiration from Michael Bay's four blockbuster instalments, something many fans will be happy about...and others, perhaps not so much.

Of course, we recently found out that Rise of the Beasts will have a much shorter runtime than any of those.

The Autobots and Maximals sharing the screen is a concept with plenty of potential, and with an animated prequel also on the horizon, the Transformers franchise will continue to expand in the coming years. If this latest live-action effort is a flop, though, it might be time for the studio to go back to the drawing board.

"Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world," reads the synopsis, "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a '90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new breed of Transformer – the Maximals – to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons."

The cast is led by Hamilton star Anthony Ramos, with Dominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Vélez, and Tobe Nwigwe joining him. Peter Cullen will once again lend his voice to Optimus Prime, while Ron Perlman has stepped in to play Optimus Primal, the leader of the Maximals.

Peter Dinklage, Liza Koshy, John DiMaggio, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Pete Davidson, and Cristo Fernández also star.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is set to be released in U.S. theatres on June 9, but arrives in the UK slightly earlier on June 8.
