After a long wait, the first official teaser for Doctor Who Series 11 is finally here, and it features a new doctor, new companions and whole new worlds waiting for the 13th Doctor to explore and rescue.

We got our first tease for Series 11 this past Sunday, but with SDCC in full swing, the first official trailer for the latest season of Doctor Who has been released.

The thrilling footage finds a newly regenerated Doctor meeting some new faces – including her own – as she encounters three new friends and companions played by Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill and Tosin Cole.

But, in typical Doctor Who fashion, Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor will also be exploring brand-new worlds filled with undiscovered wonders and threats to be outwitted by the famous Time Lord.

@MUTO123 - Loved SOA. The ending was kind of dumb though. Been following this since Sutter announced it.

Looking forward to this. Think there's any chance we'll get some SOA cameos?

@MUTO123 - Oh sweet, I didn't know she was gonna be in this. She's gorgeous.

You should give it a shot. There are 7 seasons but they are all pretty damn good. Not much of a dip in quality throughout like you see with other Network dramas.

Plus it has Sonny Burch (Walton Goggins) in it and he plays a trans woman on a season or two. It's actually really good acting on his part, and quite hilarious.

@MUTO123 - Good to hear! They're great. I'm not the biggest Hunnam fan outside of this show, but he is spectacular in SOA. Same with Ron Perlman.

Hell yes. I'm so ready for this. Loved Broadchurch and Chris Chibnall and Jodi Whittiker have proven themselves to be very talented. It's a new era of Doctor Who and we'll see if it turns out for the better or not. Either way I'm excited!

I really really want to get excited for this. I really do, but they are showing so little. It's hard to get excited. But I'll still be watching day one.


Not liking the sonic though. It looks like a dildo and I find that almost worse with the fact that it's a female doctor now, like of course she gets the dildo screwdriver. I think they were going for a lipstick motiff but that's not much better.

Color me intrigued though. Really hoping for good stuff here.

@MrDandy - The return will happen on Disney's streaming service and pick up after the events of the sixth season. The seventh (and maybe final) season will be made up of twelve episodes. There's no release date at this time
