The CW has released the first official images from the pilot episode of Black Lightning and they offer up a look at both the titular hero suited up and ready for action alongside the supporting cast...
While it won't be as closely tied to the Arrowverse as Supergirl, The CW is adding yet another superhero show to its roster next January with the launch of Black Lightning. It's an unexpected route for the network to head down but you can't fault them for wanting to bring some more diversity to this world and it appears as if this show will be a little more adult in nature based on what we've seen.
Now, a new batch of stills have been released and you can check them out in the gallery down below.
"Jefferson Pierce made his choice," reads the synopsis. "He hung up the suit and his secret identity years ago, but with one daughter hell-bent on justice and the other a star student being recruited by a local gang, he’ll be pulled back into the fight as the wanted vigilante and DC legend Black Lightning." It's an unusual choice of character but the signs are pointing to the series being good.
