24: Live Another Day ended on something of a cliffhanger, and while the 12-part season itself was a return to form for the beloved series, wrapping things up the way they did resulted in a closing scene as unsatisfying as that of season eight. Fans of 24 spent years wondering when and if they would get a proper resolution to Jack Bauer's story, and while this latest run of episodes did go some way in providing that, it was obvious by the time the credits rolled that there's still another chapter to tell in the life of the former CTU Agent. TV Line now reports that the success of 24: Live Another Day has resulted in renewed talks of a movie featuring Jack Buaer. According to their sources, "Imagine Entertainment — perhaps buoyed by the positive buzz generated by Fox’s 24: Live Another Day revival — is kicking around a new feature idea. Imagine Chairman Brian Grazer is said to be particularly keen on the pitch, which has yet to be brought to 20th Century Fox." It's still early days then, and Fox's television division wanting another season after the success of the first could play a major role in whether or not it ends up happening. How about Yvonne Strahovski's Kate getting her own small screen 24 spin-off while Bauer heads to the big one?

I feel like we've been getting "24 movie coming soon" rumors for the last 6 years. I'm not holding my breath.

LAD was great EXCEPT for the ending. I would love to see Yvonne get her own spinoff.

@BatmanRobinNightwing, It is not on the level of Breaking Bad, but if you like spec ops style action, torture, ass kicking, and you can suspend disbelief then I definitely would recommend it to anyone who hasn't watched yet.
