A Great New GAME OF THRONES Season 5 Set Pic Emerges
You might remember those revealing set snaps from Osuna, Spain, which gave us a glimpse into the goings on in "Daznak's Pit"? Well now we have a very nice shot from a different angle, featuring all of the main players involved in the scene. SPOILERS ahead...
While we anxiously await our first trailer for Game Of Thrones season 5, we do have this rather awesome new pic from Daznak's Pit for you that was posted on Reddit. We've had images from this set in Osuna, Spain, already, but this is by far our clearest look yet at the characters involved in the scene. As you can see, we have Tyrion standing behind Daario, while Jorah adopts a protective stance beside Missandei and Daenerys. Book readers will know why chaos is ensuing all around them (Dany's largest dragon, Drogon is involved), but might be surprised that Tyrion and Jorah are interacting with the others here. No, Dany has not encountered the diminutive Lannister in the novels as of yet, but HBO are obvioulsy speeding up a few things here and there, and we should expect some major deviations from the source story as we move forward.
In other Game Of Thrones related news, EW report that IMAX ticket sales for the final two season 4 episodes (and the season 5 trailer) have been surprisingly strong, stating that "some of the 200 theaters that have booked Thrones have sold out screenings, particularly theaters in larger cities." Never underestimate Game Of Thrones fandom!
