I don't care what anyone says. This season has been awesome! Depressing as hell, but awesome.

This season has been sub par compared to the other seasons but I have not been disappointed at all in a single episode.

Yeah I think this season's been the weakest so far. Lots of wheel-spinning, not much forward momentum, and not very focused compared to previous ones. It doesn't help that this season's felt like the bare minimum of highlights of the book material it's adapting, too.

Still hoping the finale ends it on a high note though. PLENTY of big moments that still need to happen!

Agreed, very weak season but the books get worse as they go on so it would make sense that the TV show follow.

This season has been phenomenal. It hasn't relied on the acting of Tyrion to carry it like season 4. Plus, the last 2 episodes have been [frick]ing bonkers. Can't wait for Sunday. And I really don't want to wait until April for season 6. Way too long of a wait.

I've liked this season. Its mostly been a builder to more dramatic stuff, but thats ok for me.

Hey did Jorah touch Dany skin to skin? Wouldn't she get the gray scale? I thought he touched her but wasn't sure if it was skin contact.

Dorne has been the biggest disappointment of this season.

I don't get how some people find Hardhome a good episode. We get a complete character change for the wights who went from Romero slow to Boyle fast. We get to see Karsi, who is obviously going to die after she has that goodbye scene with her daughter. The wight children that kill her pose for a few seconds for the camera before killing her. Also the fact that she can't kill the children because of her being a "mother". Is nobody else seeing the sexism? Why couldn't it have been a dad instead? If they wanted to have a woman warrior wilding, they could have had it been the one that gets killed by the white walker in the burning house. Also Daenerys continues to be the worst actor on the show.

Finally, not Hardhome but episode nine. The whole pit scene was terrible. First of all when Drogon is burning the civilians, all of the main characters just stand and watch it, without even thinking they could be in danger. Daenerys continues to be the worst actor on the show and finally the CGI when she is riding the dragon is absolutely awful. You know you have bad CGI when it looks worse than the first Toy Story film

With a title like "Mother's Mercy", I'm thinking Dany goes back for her other two dragons.

@BigDriggs

I just played it back. Jorah absolutely touches Dany and with both hands (47:53 on HBO Now Player). And I read this on Wiki:

"Greyscale is extremely infectious, spread through touch contact with an infected person, or even spread on unsterilized objects that have been touched by the infected."

Maybe it was just overlooked by the show runners.

@fxcreator I was thinking that it may've just been overlooked but it seems like too big a deal to overlook!

@BigDriggs

I was reading a thread on another site about it and so many people's theory is that
A. The disease is in early stages so it is not contagious yet
B. The disease doesn't affect Targaryens
C. That it was a mess up

For me, it doesn't matter about A & B because it seems stupid that Jorah would take that chance and put his queen, the love of his love, in possible deadly danger.

I think it was simply overlooked. I think that the actor playing Jorah should have at least asked, "So I should hold her then? Even though I have this greyscale stuff. That's cool. Alright then, if you say so."
