Well with comic-con over with the stars at hbo's game of thrones are back in ireland filming season 5 and now thanks to the wonderful guy's at wintetiscoming.net we now have the sfirst set pic's of the year while they don't really show much it is something worth posting.























While there is no air date for season 5 with the season 4 dvd set being relased in feburary one can expect season 5 to start in march.

That's what I thought. Although by the looks of them they resemble neither Bolton or Baratheon men... Manderly Knights!?

Klone - Wow, never thought of that actually, although those could be the Northman Stannis recruit. But I would love to see the Manderly's appear on the TV, especially Lord Lampey and his love for pie.

Wyman Manderly is essential. I mean what is our *spoiler*Onion Knight*spoiler* meant to do?

Also, I'd love it if they gave Daenerys 3/4 or so episodes this season in which she appears. Overrated stupid little girl needs to be taken off her pedestal so the Boltons/Reek, Stannis, Jon, Jaime, Dorne, etc. (e.g. more interesting characters) can shine! ;P

By the way, what do you think will be the big episode nine shocker this season? Maybe a accumulation of twists?

Klone - Agreed, Daenerys just isn't that interesting anymore. I'm just hoping Stannis is given more spotlight, we need more teeth grinding!

As for the episode nine shocker, I'm honestly not sure. Do we have any idea how they're going to handle this season? I mean AFfC and ADwD takes place at the same time, so I'm guessing they're going to have to mix it up or else we won't see some characters for an entire season.
