Last Sunday's episode of Game of Thrones featured a shocking twist after Dany flew in to help Jon Snow battle the undead and we now have just days to wait until season seven wraps up and we head into the show's final season next year. What's to come in that remains to be seen but Emilia Clarke has admitted in an interview with Elle Australia that she has some major anxiety about those last episodes.
"Oh God, I get sleepless nights over it," she says in regards to the series finale. "‘Oh, you’re gonna mess it up. It’s the last season, and it’s going to go wrong.’ My mates are like, ‘It’s you—you [and Daenerys] are one and the same now. You need to trust your instincts!’ And I’m like, ‘No, I’ve got to do more research!’ The higher everyone places the mantel, the bigger the fall. That sounds awful, but it’s true! I don’t want to disappoint anyone, basically." At least these comments confirm Dany makes it to season eight but we all know that nothing is certain in the world of Game of Thrones!
Before Clarke films that, she'll appear in the upcoming Han Solo movie as a currently unknown character. Regardless of what happens in Game of Thrones, though, the future looks bright for her!
