According to Screencrush, who cite Maltese website Maltatoday.com, Banshee actor Joseph Gatt has joined the cast of HBO's Game of Thrones season 4 as Wildling chief (or "Magnar") Styr. He certainly fits the bill for the character anyway, who is described as being "a tall lean man with no ears. He is clean shaven, bald with a straight nose and grey eyes. He rules with an iron fist and commands absolute loyalty from his men." Gatt joins other new faces Roger Ashton-Griffiths as Mace Tyrell, Pedro Pascal as Prince Oberyn “The Red Viper” Martell, Indira Varma as his lover Ellaria Sand, and Mark Gatiss in a yet-to-be revealed role.

He also had a bit-part in Star Trek: Into Darkness. He was the half-human, half-robot guy who was assigned to the bridge.
